Artistry in Architectural Grilles provides an Open Area Calculator in the perforated grille section which enables you to calculate the open area in square inches and percentage open for the full range of perforated grilles.
Simply select a grille style and enter the overall grille height and length along with the dimensions of the opening where the grille will be placed. The overall grille will be sized so that the opening will be covered by the patterned area and a border will surround that pattern.
